Nokia is preparing to release the first smartphone operating system Android , claims a number of sources such as The Wall Street Journal reported .
Nokia plans to launch the device this year at the Mobile World Congress conference in Barcelona , 24-27 February.
This step is a manifestation of the approach of Microsoft completed the acquisition of 5.44 billion shares Nokia first announced last September 2013 .
